It was a Joyous Occasion, to Celebrate their Exceptional Accomplishments and Outstanding Contributions and Achievements to the Community and UIPM Look Forward to the Bright Futures that Await Each One of them.

The Honorary Causa was Conferred to those who have made a Profound Impact in their Respective Fields. And each has demonstrated Remarkable Dedication, Outstanding Leadership, and an Unwavering Commitment to the Pursuit of Excellence for the Community.

Through their Extraordinary Achievements, they have not only Carved a Path of Success but also inspired countless others to DREAM BIG and reach for the STARS. They are now the BEACONS of Inspiration, Role Models for Aspiring Minds to those who will be Embarking on their Own Journeys,

UIPM Singapore Convocation Ceremony – 27th July 2023


UNIVERSAL Institute of Professional Management (UIPM) held an international graduation at Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII), Jakarta.

At the graduation, the President of UIPM Indonesia, Prof. Dr. Mohammad Soleh Ridwan, delivered a scientific oration regarding the mission of the United Nations (UN), namely the 17 Goals-UN SDGS ( sustainable development goals ) as the goal of community development throughout the world.

Among them are quality education, peace, justice, and strong institutions.

“One of UIPM’s advantages is carrying out the UN mission, which is influencing the world of education in the Asia Pacific region and internationally. Therefore, we invite all parties to jointly promote quality education,” said Soleh in his written statement, today.

At the graduation, Soleh, who also represented the Main Representative of UN Ecosoc, signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Chancellor of Sam Ratulangi University, Manado, Prof. Dr. Oktovian Berty Alexander Sompie.

In addition, signed an MoU with UIPM Thailand representative Dr. Aphinita Chaichana as UN Ecosoc Thailand Representative who also serves as Global President at the United Peace Keepers Federal Council (UNPKFC).

In between graduations, Soleh gave an honorary doctorate or doctor honoris causa (Dr Hc) to Mrs World United Nations 2022 Pamela Pal Das from India.

Present at the graduation which was held on Friday (28/4) were students from Thailand, Russia, the US, India, personnel from the Navy, Army, Air Force, Marine Corps, and civil society.

Distance Education Board, UIPM Graduated 25 Graduates in Malaysia

The UNIVERSAL Institute of Professional Management (UIPM), which organizes distance lectures, held a graduation ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

The Singapore-based UIPM has representatives in eight countries, namely Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, the Philippines, India, Africa and the United States.

Meanwhile, the UIPM Campus in Indonesia is located on the 7th Floor of the Plaza Summarecon Building, Bekasi. Prof. Dr. Mohammad Soleh Ridwan LLM PhD is believed to be the President of UIPM in Indonesia.

At the UIPM graduation ceremony in Kuala Lumpur, were, Royal Malaysian Government official Mrs. Sri Datin Liana Lim Abdullah who is also the Chancellor of UIPM Malaysia, the President of UIPM Malaysia Prof Dr Sathiaseelan Subramaniam, the President of UIPM Indonesia Prof Dr Mohd Soleh Ridwan LLM PhD, and the Vice President of UIPM Malaysia Prof Dr Bambang Suryanto

At the graduation ceremony on Thursday (10/11), President of UIPM Malaysia Prof. Dr. Sathiseelan Subramaniam said that UIPM Malayasi had successfully graduated 25 graduates with various majors and international program degrees (bachelor, master and doctoral).

In addition, the awarding of doctoral and professorial awards was also carried out through a process of academic feasibility and extraordinary competence tests at the professor’s academic position level at the suggestion of the university.

Sathiseelan continued that UIPM is an international tertiary institution that implements a distance education system , and is managed globally and is part of the United Nations Global Compact and the United Nations Global Marketplace.

Global education and global students around the world can study at UIPM with independent lectures and online learning ,” explained Sathiaseelan in his official statement, Sunday (11/13).
President of UIPM Indonesia Prof. Dr. Mohd Soleh Ridwan LLM PhD explained that UIPM is also one of the universities registered on APQN (the Asia Pacific Quality Network).

APQN is a prestigious institution in the Asia Pacific region and serves as a forum for the Ministry of Education in the Higher Education Accreditation Board in various countries in Asia Pacific.

“For example MQA (Malaysian Qualifications Agency) from Malaysia and BAN ( National Accreditation Agency) PT from Indonesia which aim to improve the quality of higher education in the Asia Pacific region through strengthening organizational work for quality assurance and expanding cooperation between them,” said Soleh. UIPM ( Universal Institute of Professional Management ) is now present in Indonesia, precisely on the 7th Floor of the Plaza Summarecon Building, Bekasi. 

Prof. Dr. Mohammad Soleh Ridwan LLM PhD is believed to be the President of UIPM in Indonesia. He passed the fit and proper test so that he was legally elected to manage UIPM in Indonesia.

In a statement, Wednesday (2/11), Mohammad Soleh Ridwan explained that since 2017 UIPM has been registered with the Erasmus + program of the European Union , namely distance education with the European Distance and E-Learning Network (EDEN) system and as a member of UNESCO’s Global Education Coalition.

UIPM Singapore laid the foundation for UIPM to be managed with a global managing system, global education, global students applied to various countries namely Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, India, Africa and the US.

UIPM Global Managing is led by Prof Dr A Rasheed Gaffoor as Global President and Prof Dr Relawati Abdul Malik as President of UIPM Singapore.  

Besides UIPM Singapore as a global managing center, it is also a member of APQN (the Asia Pacific Quality Network ).

APQN is the largest and most influential international organization for higher education in Asia Pacific and is a forum for a collection of Ministries of Education in Asia Pacific which has a network of quality higher education.

The network includes the Malaysian government’s Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA) and the Indonesian government’s National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT), both of which are members of APQN. 

“APQN aims to improve the quality of higher education in the Asia and Pacific region by strengthening quality assurance organizations and expanding cooperation among members. For 19 years, APQN has had 253 members from 45 countries and regions,” he said.

Regarding learning methods, explained Mohammad Soleh Ridwan, UIPM implements a 100% online learning system and distance education with the International Program and CPD Program from London, England.

“In the online education system , UIPM is affiliated with the EdX system of Harvard University and MIT, Coursera, and the Blockchain Council which provides online access to the world’s best education. This affiliate program uses a massive open online course (MOOC) system,” he explained.

He explained that UIPM’s presence in Indonesia includes an Associate’s program equivalent to a diploma that can be taken in 1-2 years, a bachelor’s program equivalent to an S1 that can be taken in 2-3 years, a master’s program equivalent to a Master’s degree that can be completed in 1-2 years, up to a doctoral program equivalent to a doctoral degree. Postgraduate which can be taken 2-3 years.

“The various UIPM faculties consist of economics and management sciences, education and teaching, engineering, built environment, IT and multimedia, health sciences, humanities and social sciences, law and political science, natural and agricultural and ocean sciences, as well as theology and religion , said Mohammad Soleh Ridwan.
